What is Bian stone?
Bian stone, also known as needle stone or engraved stone, refers to a tool used to puncture acupoints to treat diseases with stones. The medical technique uses Bianstone to treat diseases is called the Bianstone therapy technique.
The origin and development of Bian stone therapy
Bian stone is a therapeutic tool produced in the Stone Age, with names such as “medicine stone,” “Wei stone,” “needle stone,” etc. It was a widely used therapeutic tool before the Qin and Han dynasties.
Bian stone therapy is a medical technique of applying bian stone tools for medical care in ancient China. Bian stone therapy has a long history in China.
In the “Huangdi Neijing,” Bianstone acupuncture, moxibustion and herb medicine are listed as the major medical techniques of traditional Chinese medicine.
Bian stone therapy has been lost since the Eastern Han Dynasty. In the 1990s, Mr. Yang Junzi rediscovered the rocks that could make Bianstone tools in the ancient Sishui valley of Shandong and called it Sibin pumice, and Bianstone therapy gained a new start.
Bian stone therapy originated in the Stone Age. As early as in primitive society, when people were fighting against nature, they used various stone tools to make Bianstone tools and beat and rubbed some parts of the body to heal pain and disease.
When the ancestors fell ill, they grabbed a stone, pressed and rubbed the affected part, punctured, and scraped. After doing this, the pain is sometimes relieved.
The unearthed cultural relics show that in the middle and late Stone Age, Bianstone therapy has developed to a considerable level in both techniques and tools. People also imitate “stone cooking” and place hot stones on certain body parts to relax tendons, activate blood, relieve pain and eliminate fatigue.
Since then, this experience therapy has gradually merged with theories of meridians and acupuncture points to form an independent medical technique.
Bian stone therapy originated earlier than moxibustion and earlier than metal needles. It has a long history in the history of human treatment.
Archaeology divides the era of human use of stone tools as production tools into two stages.
The former stage is the Paleolithic Age, and the latter stage is the Neolithic Age.
The Paleolithic period lasted about two to three million years. At that time, humans used some kinds of relatively rough needles and moxibustion and no Bianstone was used.
Bian stone has been lost since the Eastern Han Dynasty.
Since the Eastern Han Dynasty, although the non-drug therapy of traditional Chinese medicine has continued to develop, its content is mainly moxibustion, acupuncture, etc.
After thousands of years of development, the Bianstone technique disappeared in the Eastern Han Dynasty. According to historical data, the reason why the Bian stone technique was lost was that the quality of the best stones for making Bianstone was lacking.
Rediscovery of Bianstone Therapy
There are many records of Sibin pumice in history, among which the earliest record was in “Yu Gong” in “Shangshu” during the Warring States Period.
Among them, it is recorded that in the legendary period of the ancient Great Yu, China was divided into nine states; among them only Xuzhou was marked as the “Sibin music stone.” It should have been very precious at the time; otherwise, it would not have been named and the tribute was only owned and used by the emperor.
The stone material used for making it is also named “Sibin Pumice Stone.”
In the days of Emperor Yu, 4,100 years ago, it was a tribute and an artifact used for sacrificial worship.
It was a Buddhist and Taoist instrument, a Confucian ritual instrument, and a braided fragrance composed of multiple pieces of fragrance. The chimes and bells became the musical instruments that symbolized the dignity of the emperor.
In 1978, 13 black stone pieces with regular shapes were excavated in the ancient tomb of the First Warring States Period in Shandong, two of which were broken.
Appraisal by relevant experts: the stone is from the Zhou Dynasty and is a national first-class cultural relic.
In late, Mr. Yang Lingzi, a music teacher from Shandong Province, worked tirelessly to find the Sibin pumice stone in the Sishui River Basin. The two braided fragrances prepared with it, the percussion sound is beautiful and pure, the sound penetrates the vast sky, and the reverberation is wrapped, which is wonderful.
Appraisal by authoritative experts: the two later pieces are exactly the same stone as the original. After a large number of scientific research and clinical trials, the relevant national authoritative departments tested, the medical experts determined: Sibin pumice stone is the stone for making ‘Xin music,’ and it is also the best stone for making Bian stone.
How is Bianstone produced?
According to the research by the scientists of China Earthquake Administration and the geological exploration of origin, the scientists put forward the meteorite impact theory.
Sixty-five million years ago, a special meteorite hit the southwestern area of Shandong, and the meteorite hit the surface rock layer and exploded. In the high temperature, high pressure, and plasma environment, the interstellar material and the surface rock layer blended and penetrated each other, and finally fell on the surface to form pumice. That is Sibin pumice.
Sibin pumice stone is the earliest named stone in China. The ‘Xin instrument’ (the ancient musical instruments and artifacts for the royal family) made of it is called Sibin stone.
It was a tribute more than 4,000 years ago, and it was made of it. The medical tool is Bian stone.
Lou Huajun, a geologist who talks about the “explosion”, believes that after years of research, 65 million years ago, an iron meteorite with a diameter of about 10km hit the southwestern area of Shandong, causing a huge impact centered on Juye.
According to this theoretical analysis, geophysics researcher Professor Geng Naiguang believes that the “crater” radius is less than 60km, and the “crater lip” will spread farther to the Taiyi Mountains.
Professor Geng said: “Pumice is produced at the moment of the big bang, thrown into the air under high temperature and high pressure, and the plasma absorbs the explosives from the star and scattered to the surface to form pumice. During the rapid cooling process, a microcrystalline structure is formed.
This is a masterpiece of creation under special conditions. Sibin should be the “lip edge”, researchers have seen many phenomena that are consistent with the “big bang” theory: for example, the collected pumice stones are mostly scattered irregularly, with uneven thickness and attached state, etc.
The thinnest ones are only a few centimeters, and the thick ones are squeezed into blocks.
The common features of this type of pumice stone are that they all have opposite sides. The “positive” side is generally smooth and more streamlined, and the “back” side (the side attached to the rock) is uneven and honeycomb-like.
Physical and chemical properties of Bian stone
Among many stone tools, Bianstone can be used as a tool for treating diseases because of its unique physical and chemical properties.
1) Ultrasonic measurement
Rubbing or tapping this stone can send out extremely rich ultrasonic pulses. There is a peculiar energy field that acts on the body to generate ultrasonic waves and detects the frequency of ultrasonic waves of Bianstone stone is 3698 times per second, and the frequency of ultrasonic waves is 20-2000 kHz. It can effectively dredge the meridians, improve microcirculation, inhibit the growth of cancer cells and eliminate excess body fat.
2. Far-infrared radiation
It can have a good physiological effect on the body. Bian stone has rich far-infrared energy; its peak wavelength is 8-16mm, which is longer than that of ordinary materials. It is called extreme far-infrared, increasing cell activity and accelerating molecular movement to promote metabolism. It can heat up the human body and is suitable for relieving paralysis syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine.
3) Radioactivity determination
Analysis of radioactive material content: The radioactive specific activity of Bianstone’s radionuclides radium-226, needle-232 and potassium-40 is 0.043 for internal exposure and 0.044 for external exposure, which are respectively 1/1 of the limits specified in the national standard GB6566-2001. 23 and 1/30. Hazardous substance content (unit: mgg):
- lead (Pb) is 1.25,
- pickaxe (Cd) is 0 (not detected),
- chromium (Cr) is 3.65,
- Mercury (Hg) is 0.01,
- god (As) is 0.2,
It is far lower than the limits stipulated by the national standards GB7916-1987 and GB18584-2001. Therefore, Bianstone is a health care product that is beneficial and harmless to the body.
4) Determination of particle fineness
Bian stone is a kind of calcite microcrystalline stone. The particle size is less than 0.03mm; massaging the body can make the body feel comfortable, and tapping this stone can make a metallic sound.
5) Determination of trace elements
Bian stone contains more than 40 kinds of trace elements. Trace elements are very important to the body. Trace elements can improve the body’s immunity and keep the body in a healthy state. The main component of natural Bianstone is a kind of mineral called “microcrystalline limestone,” of which the most are Si, calcium oxide, silicon oxide, sodium oxide, etc., and aluminum, iron, magnesium, phosphorus and other elements.
Trace elements and rare earth elements are chromium, manganese, nickel, copper, billion, etc., containing more than 36 kinds of elements that are beneficial to the body, and the content of radioactive substances is very small. At the same time, some Bianstones contain metal substances such as copper and iron, which cause the Bianstones to show red, yellow, green and other colors other than gray and black.
6) Microcirculation assay
Bian stone touches the epidermis, and on the monitor screen of the “Microcirculation Detector,” the rapidly accelerating blood flow in small blood vessels and capillaries can be clearly seen.
7) Regulate blood lipid determination
Drinking Bianstone soaking water can reduce blood triglycerides and cholesterol, increase high-density lipoprotein, and significantly regulate hyperlipidemia.
8) Determination of the therapeutic effect of massage
When using a Bianstone tapping body, there is an obvious acupuncture sensation (invisible needle). Bian stone therapy will not greatly reduce the health care effect due to the difference of each technician’s technique.
At the same time, it can penetrate deep into the skin to form resonance with cells and molecules and can achieve many effects that traditional methods cannot achieve.
9) Shield harmful electromagnetic waves
Sibin Bianstone Mattress uses modern high-tech means to fully shield the electromagnetic wave radiation that is harmful to health and achieve a natural protection effect on the body.
Bian stone is divided into 3 grades according to the mineral crystal particle size:
- A grade, particle size <0.05mm;
- B grade, particle size <0.1mm;
- C grade, particle size <0.5mm.
Bian stone is divided into three grades according to the number of ultrasonic pulse events generated by the friction of body: Grade A, >3000 times;
- Grade B, >2000 times;
- Grade C, >1000 times.
Bianstones are classified into three grades according to the maximum wavelength of the infrared spectral bandwidth of radiation: Grade A, >15;
- Grade B, >14;
- Grade C, >13.
On this basis, the grading standard of Bianstone comprehensive grade is given. Bian stone is divided into five grades:
- C grade,
- B grade,
- A grade
- 2A grade
- A grade.
The division of Bianstone grades provides a basis for developing a variety of rocks for Bianstone therapy.
Bian stone material composition
Scientists have made a more reasonable and credible analysis and inference on the formation of Sibin pumice stone. , “Deep-sea sedimentation-land uplift-Yuanshi impact-plasma penetration”, the Sibin Fuxin (stone) genesis hypothesis.
The deep-sea sedimentary limestone formed in the Paleozoic Cambrian to Ordovician 550 million years ago was lifted out of the sea with the orogeny to form high mountains.
At the end of the Baimo period, 65 million years ago, a member star with a diameter of 10 km hit eastern China. The explosion of the member star stripped the surface limestone and flew into the air. In the high temperature, high pressure, and plasma environment generated by the explosion, the limestone and interstellar matter interacted with each other. Infiltrate, blend, and finally fall on the surface, forming pumice. Sibin pumice stone is the earliest named stone in my country. The Xin (the ancient musical instruments, instruments and artifacts for the royal family) made of it is called Sibin Fu Xin. It was a tribute more than 4,000 years ago, and it was made of it. The medical tool is Bian stone. The Sibin pumice with special properties (microcrystalline metamorphic limestone) is a masterpiece of creation!
The main components of Sibin pumice
The main component of natural Bianstone is a mineral called “microcrystalline limestone”, most of which are siliceous, calcium oxide, silicon oxide, sodium oxide, etc., and aluminum, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, etc. Elements, trace elements, and rare earth elements contain chromium, manganese, nickel, copper, billion and other more than 36 kinds of elements that are beneficial to the human body, and the content of radioactive substances is extremely small. At the same time, some Bianstones contain metal substances such as copper and iron, which cause the Bianstones to show red, yellow, green and other colors other than gray and black. In general, qualified Bianstone is beneficial and harmless to the human body, and it is the top grade for making TCM medical devices.
Ultrasonic properties of Sibin pumice
Ultrasound stimulation has deep penetration. Research at home and abroad has shown that ultrasound can dredge meridians and improve microcirculation in the human body. Bian stone can generate ultrasonic pulses beneficial to health every time it rubs against the human body. The average number of ultrasonic pulses can reach 3708 times, and the frequency range is 20,000 to 4 million hertz, which is higher than the ultrasonic waves that other jade can emit. It is the first of all materials. .The right amount of benign ultrasound can have the following effects on the human body.
1) The massage effect means ultrasonic waves can make cells move slightly, change the state of diseased cells, and achieve the purpose of curing diseases.
2) Heat effect: After the human body absorbs the energy of ultrasonic waves, the skin’s blood circulation is accelerated, and a fever reaction can occur.
3) Biological effects: Ultrasound can affect some chemical or biological changes in the human body, change the activity of enzymes, etc., thereby changing the metabolic environment and state in the human body, and transforming the disease into a better direction.
4) A small dose of ultrasound on the nervous system can slow down the conduction velocity of the nerve and inhibit the nerve, so it has an obvious analgesic effect.・
5) Other effects Ultrasound can increase gastrointestinal motility; dilate the coronary arteries of the heart and improve the blood supply of the myocardium; dilate the renal blood vessels and increase the renal blood flow. It can be seen that the good ultrasonic properties of Sibin pumice make it a very good pure natural health product.
Far-infrared characteristics of Sibin pumice
Bian stone has a strange energy field, and when it acts on human skin, it shows that it can generate extreme far-infrared radiation, and its frequency band is extremely wide, and the far-infrared frequency can reach the range of 7-20mm. It can absorb the heat of the human body, and then convert this energy into far-infrared rays that are beneficial to the human body, and radiate to the human body, which can improve local blood circulation, reduce muscle tension, and relieve muscle control.
Musical Acoustic Characteristics of Sibin Pumice
Sibin Fuxin has a beautiful voice and is an ancient royal tribute and instrument. It is a good instrument for music therapy. Because of these special physical and chemical properties of Bianstone that it is very suitable to be used as a therapeutic tool.
